How to setup your artwork

It is avisable to use a professional to create your artwork to ensure it is setup correctly to go through our presses. Below is guide of how to setup your artwork along with some templates and brief pointers.

A few brief pointers...

Please refer to our full pdf guide when producing artwork but heres the main points...

	3mm bleed on each edge You will need to add this to ensure background colours etc run to the edge of the cut sheet without there being white areas around the edge.
	5mm Margins A “Margin or Quiet Border”, (i.e. an area where no text or logos should be present), of at least 5mm from the trimmed edge of your artwork should be observed. This will avoid any part of your design appearing too close to the edge of the page and will give your job a more professional appearance.
	CMYK Colours Please make sure your artwork is produced in CMYK colour mode using CMYK colours.
	300DPI Resolution Please make sure your artwork is at least 300dpi resolution to ensure top quality printing.

How to get your files to us

Please make sure your artwork is created with our design criteria in mind before sending otherwise errors may occur, it is the clients responsibility to provide print ready artwork, you can infomation on artworking at the top of this page.

Under 8mb

If your files are below 8mb then simply e-mail them to artwork@fullphatprint.co.uk , we advise you to zip your files and make the file name the order number for which the artwork is for.

If your order contains more than one item (for example flyers and letterheads) separate your artwork within the main folder to show which artwork is for which product.

We will then update your order status to "artwork received", if you dont see your order change to this within 24 hours of sending this please contact us via e-mail so we can act upon this.

Over 8mb

For files over 8mb these can clog up our e-mail system so please don't attach them to a standard e-mail, we suggest using a free service such as Yousendit.com which will allow you to send files of up to 100mb in size, please struture your files as shown above for files below 8mb.
